Jean Chrétien's former press officer Steven Hogue wrote to Prime Minister Paul Martin last Tuesday in a bid to get the new PM to reverse the Liberal Party's decision to ban him from seeking the Liberal nomination in the new riding of St. Maurice-Champlain because he's a man.
