Ralph Klein won the election. Albertans rushed to the streets shouting, "Forty more years!" The runaway victory by the Progressive Conservative (sic) party launched my morning paper into paens of ecstacy: "Klein's victory," ejaculated the Globe and Mail, "poses a challenge for other provinces."
