Ontario may be the place to stand, and the place to be, but it’s hard to believe the “It’s-all-Ontario” strategy will work: if there’s one generalization in Canadian politics, it is that the way to power is the middle of the road
I don't find much that is attractive about the Reform Party or its successor, the Canadian Alliance. But as the electors in its leadership race are being cajoled or beguiled I tend to reflect on the Progressive Conservative convention of 1948.
