Media ignore Mounties’ side of the story at APEC inquiry
When police moved in against protesters at the November 1997 APEC economic summit in Vancouver, they not only gave the protesters a seemingly-endless platform to air their complaints, but they sparked a media feeding frenzy which, with few exceptions, blatantly took the side of the protesters.
