Senate committees have a light work-load

The Senate's Privileges, Standing Rules and Orders Committee has met on average only 11.4 hours a year for the last eight years on Parliament Hill while the Senate's Fisheries Committee has met for 14.2 hours a year for the same amount of time, according to a report obtained by The Hill Times.
