Bloc MP gets 12,000-name petition to end senate
No respect for Senate...Bloc Qu b cois MP Jean-Guy Chr tien has entered the fray to abolish the Senate. Last week, the rural Quebec MP tabled a petition signed by 12,000 of his 68,000 Frontenac-Megantic, Que., constituents, asking for the end of the Upper Chamber.
