Two things grinding my gears right now: Poilievre’s attacks on Carney’s grasp of economics, and all the referendum warriors

I don’t believe that Alberta will vote to have a binding referendum, let alone vote to separate. I really don’t. But this can’t be taken as a certainty. And if the result in October is anything other than a clear, massive rejection of separation, this isn’t going to go away.

OTTAWA—Ya know what grinds my gears? Truth is there are any number of things that dumbfound me on a regular basis about Canadian politics. Today, I’d like to share just two. We’ll call this an ode to American broadcaster Andy Rooney. Gen Z can Google him.
