Feds refer a contractor to RCMP alleging it fraudulently over-billed the government

PSPC says it has identified so far a total of $5.5-million in improper billing and recovered $4.8-million to date.
Public Services and Procurement Canada, led by Minister Joël Lightbound, is working on recouping more federal funds that went to contractors who fraudulently over-billed the government.

The federal government has referred one more individual to the police this month as part of its probe into over-billing by consultants, making this the 10th case of suspected procurement fraud referred to the police for criminal investigation.
