Liberal, NDP MPs support Turkish earthquake survivors’ plea to extend visas before having to return to disaster-hit country: ‘this is our last chance’

A new petition backed by Liberal and NDP MPs is asking the government for a two-year extension to temporary work permits for Turkish earthquake victims so that they can work towards permanent residency while maintaining their legal status in Canada.
