Preparing for a possible early election, Conservatives closing first batch of 16 riding nominations this month: sources

In preparation for a possible early election, Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives have started the process to nominate candidates across the country. As of last week, nominations were open in 16 ridings in five provinces. They will close on Feb. 25.
