Conservatives are preparing for an election in case one is called this year, says Lionel Loganath, an Ontario candidate of record.
More than 2,500 Conservative delegates will vote this evening on whether Pierre Poilievre should lead the party into the next election.

Senior Conservatives are touting the party's financial and organizational strength to delegates gathered for the convention, and praising Leader Pierre Poilievre as the reason for much of their recent fundraising success.
