HALIFAX—The plight of the Conservative Party of Canada, and its beleaguered leader, took another turn for the worse with the defection to the Liberals of Nova Scotia MP Chris d’Entremont on Nov. 4 and the resignation of Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux on Nov. 6.
