African economies have grown slowly over the past 50 years, but population growth has meant that real per capita incomes in most African countries have scarcely risen at all.
People are learning ‘from a distorted map,’ says Speak Up Africa founder Fara Ndiaye, leading to ‘a biased view of Africa’s role in the world.’
