Canada must stay the course on its push to tackle plastic pollution

The Liberal government is considering an appeal of a Federal Court's Nov. 16 decision which overturned Canada’s ban on single-use plastic.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that by 'working together to reach a future free from plastic waste, we are building a clean, healthy tomorrow for generations to come,' in a press release from the Prime Minister's Office on Feb. 11, 2023.
