Gun control legislation and other major bills await fall return of House and Senate

Parliament has adjourned for the summer, and will return in mid-September.

Members of Parliament and Senators adjourned early last week after an acrimonious and raucous House sitting, with key bills—including controversial gun control legislation—now in limbo, waiting for the return of the government in mid-September.
