When the Emergencies Act inquiry repeatedly asked both Premier Doug Ford, pictured, and his then-Attorney General Sylvia Jones to be interviewed, the answer was no. When they were asked to testify about matters they know more about than anyone else in the Ontario government, they refused. As a result, the inquiry has been forced to issue subpoenas to both Ford and Jones. Think about that, writes Michael Harris.
