The New Democrats throw the Liberals a lifeline

This also means the next Conservative leader will be on the national stage for a longer period of time, so he or she won’t seem so brand spanking new at the next federal election. Extra time also means Trudeau will have more opportunities to address and solve national unity problems and, who knows, by 2025 maybe the world situation might improve.
