Time to take Poilievre seriously, no matter how unserious he seems 

Progressive Canadians, not only Liberals, but especially Liberals, need to respond with verve, flash and conviction. And, since  Trudeau himself is incapable of spontaneous utterance, someone else has to lead this fight and not leave it to long-winded mainstream pundits (present!), or equally rigid ideologues on the other side. Poilievre’s rivals, on all fronts, better stoop to conquer, or they are going to lose—and so are many Canadians.
