Canada playing bystander role in debate on NATO’s future

Limited and decreasing American military capabilities in east Asia creates the strong possibility the United States would seek NATO support and assistance in that fermenting area. The recent transit by a Canadian naval ship through the Taiwan Straight suggests Ottawa is blindly backing American policy for the region.
