‘The time is now’ to push Liberals on mental health transfer promise, says NDP MP

Advocates and MPs should act quickly to push the Liberal government to follow-though on its promise of a $4.5-billion mental health transfer, according to NDP MP Don Davies.
During the federal election, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, pictured Sept. 28 in Ottawa, promised $4.5-billion over five years towards a permanent mental health transfer. A more specific timeline for implementing the transfer has not been announced.
