Non-profit sector needs seat at policy-making table, home in federal government

A home in the federal government is needed so that the charitable sector has dedicated policy, programs, and investments similar to approaches for other economic sectors—like transportation, agriculture, and small business—which all have dedicated federal ministers and portfolios.
The Nonprofit Coalition launched on June 23 and is made up of seven founding members organizations.
