Canada better step up its game on battery-powered electric vehicles

So far, Canada lacks a plan. But there is strong pressure from the United States for a North American battery ecosystem, though one which seems to see Canada principally as a source of raw materials rather than a full-fledged partner in high-value processing and manufacturing.
