Democracy’s stand against autocracy

If the democratic world does not want to allow autocracy and the big lie to permanently dominate a critical part of Asia, which also involves the expansion of China’s influence to the edge of the Indian sub-continent, it must do far more. 
Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau is the country's top diplomat. At minimum, Canada must follow suit and target the corrupt revenue streams from the military-owned businesses in Myanmar.
Across the planet, democracy is losing out to the ugly twins of autocracy and the big lie. Despite the victory of U.S. President Joe Biden over Donald Trump’s big lie in the 2020 election, they are still winning in every region of the world.
