Elephant in the room remains at Veterans Affairs Canada

The government has failed to meet expectations on its mandated commitment to ‘re-establish lifelong pensions’ so that a comparable level of financial security is provided to all disabled veterans and their families.
The department should be collaborating to ‘think outside the box’ and o create a comprehensive program model that would essentially treat all veterans with parallel disabilities in the same manner as to the application of benefits and wellness policies, writes Brian Forbes.
