More of the same in Speech from the Throne for Kovrig, Spavor

The government is being duplicitous in its affirmation of standing up for the 'rule of law' as the barrier to their return. The rule of law has many manifestations, but it is not an element in the final decision making associated with extraditions.  
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in the Throne Speech delivered by the Governor General, says Canada will 'continue to stand up for human rights and the rule of law. It is unacceptable that any citizen be arbitrarily detained.' The return of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig is within the control of the government, despite its insistence that its hands are tied.
