It’s the end of the road for this tragically obtuse election

Election 43 should be known as the Election of Ignorance for the lack of vision, lack of leadership, and a lack of accountability. If this is the best Canada has to offer, we’re effed.
The election has been one of many missed opportunities. The issues that the parties ignored, or downplayed, will still be there on Oct. 22, but voters will be in the dark as to how their newly elected representatives will respond to crises of the day, write Erica Ifill and Amy Kishek.
