When it comes to climate change, Scheer can’t win

Andrew Scheer’s enemies will keep hammering away at his plan from now until election day in October, which will put the Conservative leader on the defensive. This is why, politically speaking, Scheer really had nothing to gain from promoting anything even slightly resembling a well-thought-out climate change plan.
