Why we shouldn’t take blood donors for granted

Even though most Canadians have good intentions about the act of donating blood, very few donate. One in two Canadians is eligible to donate, but only one in 60 actually does.
This year marks the 11th anniversary since Parliament passed legislation that recognizes and celebrates volunteer blood donors across the country who selflessly help their fellow citizens.
