Environment will break through the electoral noise with 100 Debates

Concerns such as climate change, wilderness protection, and water are now ballot box issues for voters from all walks of life and public support for environmental issues is stronger than ever.

Schoolchildren marched on Parliament Hill on May 3 as part of the Fridays for the Future movement, which calls on political leaders to step up their efforts to tackle climate change. In the same spirit, GreenPAC, an environmental organization, is co-ordinating 100 non-partisan, all-candidates’ debates on the environment across the country, which will all take place on the same day, Oct. 7, ahead of the federal election.
