Canada and EU have shared security interests

We are in this together. As friends and partners, Canada and the EU have the opportunity to enhance our shared interests by building collaboration on security and defence issues.

The EU is firmly anchored in NATO. Our transtlantic Alliance was, is, and will remain the main security pillar for the EU. But we know that we have to do more, and do it better.
