Canada’s forest sector in a changing economy

Our forests are a valuable legacy and we want to ensure they remain healthy now and for decades to come, so that future generations can benefit from their environmental and economic services as we do today.
Ultimately, growing a low carbon economy requires commitment, a clear vision and hard work. It also means a place for everyone at the table: provincial and territorial counterparts, Indigenous peoples and other key partners.
