Feds should snuff out excise tax on medical cannabis

They’re violating the personal dignity of patients by imposing a ‘sin tax’ on their medicine.
‘We do not want the taxation levels to be an incentive for people to utilize [the medical cannabis] system inappropriately,’ explained Bill Blair, the minister responsible for cannabis legalization, as the rationale for a federal decision to impose a new excise duty on medical cannabis.
