The Parliament Building is our town hall, our office, our home away from home, a place of reflection and reverence, and it is my duty to safeguard this space for my colleagues and for all Canadians, today and in the future.
Centre Block is arranged symmetrically around Confederation Hall, pictured. As the time approaches to vacate the Parliament Building, every room, every corridor, every nook, and cranny is being photographed and filmed, so that those wishing to see the splendours of the Parliament Building will still have the chance to do so, even if only in the virtual world, writes House Speaker Geoff Regan.
