Québec Solidaire vote may be more than a sign of youthful rebellion

As conservative governments take hold in other provinces, the election results in Quebec may be a harbinger of things to come elsewhere, and may prove to be a major challenge for the Trudeau Liberals in 2019.
The Québec Solidaire in this month’s election had many candidates, like co-spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, pictured, who were under 30, and had been involved in the “Printemps Erable” student protests in 2012 in the province.
