Liberals, Conservatives did the right thing by voting against Iran

They should be commended for coming together and standing up for Canadian values of human rights, peace, and democracy. They did what is in the best interest for Canada and Iranians.
Conservative MP Garnett Genuis proposed a resolution to condemn Iran for ‘its ongoing sponsorship of terrorism around the world,’ urging Canada to abandon its plan to restore diplomatic ties with Iran. It passed with Liberal and Conservative support on June 12.
It was an intense two weeks in Parliament before the House of Commons adjourned for the summer last week.
