Nuclear Posture Review to see U.S. obtain two new types of nuclear weapons
The main reason that the Nuclear Posture Review gives for the new weapons is that the U.S. military are worried that other countries may see its existing nuclear weapons as too big to be used.

The U.S. ‘Nuclear Posture Review’ published by the Pentagon late last week announced that the United States will be getting two new types of nuclear weapons to provide, in the words of U.S. officials, “more flexible capabilities to give tailored deterrence.”
