Rosaleen Dickson's engagement in community life reached well beyond The Shawville Equity. She managed a local hockey team, started a Brownies pack, and taught children how to square dance on horseback. Yes, you read that right.
Rosaleen Dickson, a former editor of The Shawville Equity for more than 30 years, also helped out in the early days of The Hill Times. She wrote the weekly 'MPs in the Kitchen' column, book reviews, and helped proof pages. She also volunteered with the National Press Club and was a drummer in a seniors' band.
