Nearly $13.4-million cost, risk management contract awarded for Centre Block renovation

So far, almost $46-million in contracts have been awarded for work on Centre Block. The government also prequalified only one 'entity,' a joint venture of EllisDon and PCL Construction, to bid on the main construction management for Centre Block.
The Centre Block building will be emptied for construction over the summer of 2018. The main construction management contract for the building's overall rehabilitation still has yet to be announced.
