Mediation is a powerful peacemaking tool the world should heed

Canada recently joined the Group of Friends of Mediation, which includes 48 countries and five international organizations promoting the use of mediation in conflict prevention and resolution. There will be a meeting of minds on mediation this weekend in Turkey.
