Facing up to Parkinson’s: individuals, governments must act to fight debilitating disease

On May 4, Parkinson Canada held a parliamentary breakfast asking the government to join this initiative by investing $15-million over five years. This investment can be a game changer for individuals like me, caregivers like my wife, and the thousands more who will hear, 'You’ve got Parkinson’s.' This investment can also curb health-care costs and the economic drain that results when Canadians are forced to leave the workforce early.
