Democracy is the basis of our freedoms, our prosperity and our dignity. Donald Trump’s evident distain for the independence of the judiciary and the media is only slightly more frightening than the popularity of his message. At some point we must recognize that democracy itself hangs in the balance. We are now witness to crimes against democracy.
