The case for a Pacific community
The Sino-American relationship and, by extension, the U.S. response to China's emergence as a global superpower, will be at the forefront of political developments in the 21st century. Establishing a Pacific Community, by linking the Americas to Asia, would strengthen this relationship and ease the transition to a China-centric Asia.
