Canada is facing a tough set of choices. We have the potential to lift hundreds of communities out of poverty and build a multi-industry economy in the North or we can continue the current government’s path and ignore the northern economy.
The North remains the next frontier. Trillions of dollars remain in the Far North both on land and under the seafloor. In the next 10 years, the discussion of how to develop these resources and who owns them will take a prominent role in both Canadian politics and international dialogue.
