Defence review and defence industrial base: an opportunity to enhance sovereignty, drive innovation-led growth

This is a government that seems to want to do things differently to advance the economy and Canada’s role in the world. The defence review can be an important element of that agenda, particularly if it breaks with the past, aligns with our allies, and commits to developing a defence industrial policy aimed at enhancing Canadian sovereignty and bolstering innovation-led growth.
