Rural broadband, CRTC in-fighting to highlight fall session

With a fresh session of Parliament looming and a whole summer of consultation at its back, there’s boundless opportunity for the government to gain some forward momentum on telecom issues this fall.
Members of the industry have also engaged in campaigns, with the Toronto branch of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) penning its own open letter to the prime minister and Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly (pictured) asking them to tell the CRTC to back off.
