Senate spending scandal peters out completely

A couple years ago, Canada looked to be on the verge of a Constitutional confrontation and morale collapse. Reading the official statements and media reports, I had the impression we were dealing with an organization like Cosa Nostra with Al Capone at the centre of the drama.
