To live up to its obligations, Canada must reject Energy East

The feds need to abandon the development of unconventional oil sources, and scrap fossil fuel subsidies at the expense of green projects.
According to the Pembina Institute, Energy East would produce 32 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, says Monique Pauzé. This would be higher than the emissions produced by Quebec’s entire transportation industry, including large trucks.
