Why Canada needs a national housing strategy now

Safe, secure and affordable housing is a health issue.

Amarjeet Sohi, the minister of Infrastructure and Communities, was tasked in his mandate letter to work "with the minister of Families, Children and Social Development to create a housing strategy to re-establish the federal government’s role in supporting affordable housing."
