Leap Manifesto should have been killed
Stephen Lewis, and his son, will go down in political folklore as the authors of the biggest blunder in NDP history. His impassioned plea for Leap was foolhardy. It should have been killed.
OTTAWA—The loss of leader Thomas Mulcair is the least of New Democratic Party problems.
The fact that nobody saw it coming is worth some rear-view reflection. For a party that came within a whisker of forming the government, its leadership is either incredibly naïve or wilfully disorganized.
