Big changes expected as lobbying, ethics commissioners’ terms approach end

There are expectations among lobbyists that the offices of these two commissioners will become one.
The terms of Lobbying Commissioner Karen Shepherd, left, and Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson are coming to an end within a few months. Ms. Shepherd has indicated she would serve another term if asked, while Ms. Dawson has not said whether she is interested in continuing.
